Care Instructions

To clean your fabric, jute, and cowhide espadrilles, you can follow these instructions:

  • Don't toss them in the washing machine, that's a no-go.
  • First, get rid of any dirt or surface dust on your espadrilles. You can use a soft brush or cloth to wipe off the excess dirt.
  • For tough stains, mix a small amount of mild detergent with warm water. Make sure the detergent doesn't contain bleach or other strong bleaching agents that could harm the materials.
  • Dampen a clean cloth in the diluted detergent solution and gently rub the stained areas. Be careful not to rub too hard and damage the fabrics.
  • After scrubbing, rinse the cloth with clean water and remove any detergent residue from the espadrilles.
  • Let your espadrilles air dry in a shady and well-ventilated area. Avoid direct sunlight as it might fade the colors or distort the materials.
  • If your espadrilles have a jute sole, avoid excessive soaking, as jute can be damaged by water. Just gently clean the upper part of the espadrilles and avoid soaking the sole.
  • Once your espadrilles are dry, you can gently brush the jute sole with a soft-bristled brush to restore its appearance.
